Toyota Announces Prices of its Eight 2008 Vehicles

Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., has recently announced the MSRP or the manufacturer's suggested retail prices for eight of its vehicles which will be arriving in dealerships in late July and all through the month of August. The eight Toyota vehicles included:



• 2008 Avalon

• The base MSRP ranges from $27,075 for the XL model to $34,425 for the Limited model. The total average MSRP for the Avalon is $201 or 0.6 percent.



• 2008 Prius

• The base MSRP for the Prius ranges from $20,950 for the newly introduced standard model to $23,220 for the Touring model. The MSRP average of Prius has increased by $150 or 0.7 percent. The new more affordable Prius will hit dealerships this August.



• 2008 Yaris

• There are no significant changes on the Yaris for 2008 except for the addition of a standard tire pressure monitoring system for all models. The 2008 Yaris will also have the all-new Liftback Sport model for its lineup which may be further enhance by Koni shocks. The base MSRP price of the five-speed manual transmission Liftback model is $11,300 while the sedan with automatic transmission has a base MSRP of $12,900. The Sport Liftback model with five-speed manual transmission has a base MSRP of $12,975. All Yaris vehicles will arrive at dealerships in August. The total average MSRP increase of the Yaris is $150 or 1.2 percent.

• 2008 RAV4

• For 2008 RAV4 was able to obtain both interior and safety enhancements for 2008. The base MSRP price of RAV4 ranges from $21,100 for the base model 2WD four-cylinder to $26,670 for the 4WD Limited V6. The total MSRP average increase of RAV4 is $150 or 0.6 percent.



• FJ Cruiser

• The FJ Cruiser was given several feature upgrades for 2008 and commands a base MSRP of $22,545 for the 2WD automatic $24,130.



• 4Runner

• Toyota's 4Runner has improved greatly on its standard features. The total average MSRP increase for the SR5 and Sport Edition models 4Runner is $380 while $350 is for the Limited models. The 4Runner MSRP ranges from $28,015 for the 2WD SR5 V6 to $38,735 for the 4WD Limited V8. Overall the total MSRP average of the 4Runner increases by $376 or 1.2 percent.



• Tacoma

• The Tacoma pickup truck will have a price increase of $100 or 0.5 percent for all models. The 2WD four cylinder has a base MSRP price ranging from $14,280 for manual transmission to $26,115 for the Double Cab 4WD V6 automatic long bed. The total Tacoma average MSRP has increased by 0.5 percent.



• Sienna

• Sienna was given an Extra Value Package and some enhancements. Its MSRP ranges from $24,340 for the 2WD CE to $37,665 for the AWD Limited model. The total MSRP average of the Sienna increases by $35 or 0.1 percent.
