Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., has recently announced the MSRP or the manufacturer's suggested retail prices for eight of its vehicles which will be arriving in dealerships in late July and all through the month of August. The eight Toyota vehicles included:
• 2008 Avalon
• The base MSRP ranges from $27,075 for the XL model to $34,425 for the Limited model. The total average MSRP for the Avalon is $201 or 0.6 percent.
• 2008 Prius
• The base MSRP for the Prius ranges from $20,950 for the newly introduced standard model to $23,220 for the Touring model. The MSRP average of Prius has increased by $150 or 0.7 percent. The new more affordable Prius will hit dealerships this August.
• 2008 Yaris
• There are no significant changes on the Yaris for 2008 except for the addition of a standard tire pressure monitoring system for all models. The 2008 Yaris will also have the all-new Liftback Sport model for its lineup which may be further enhance by Koni shocks. The base MSRP price of the five-speed manual transmission Liftback model is $11,300 while the sedan with automatic transmission has a base MSRP of $12,900. The Sport Liftback model with five-speed manual transmission has a base MSRP of $12,975. All Yaris vehicles will arrive at dealerships in August. The total average MSRP increase of the Yaris is $150 or 1.2 percent.
