People at DragTimes.com have released the first shot of the green venomous 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10 which was just right off the assembly line in Michigan. The all new Viper in never before seen snakeskin green color would definitely make any Jaguar to lose its Jaguar car cover in fright.
Aside from its amazing new look the 600HP Viper will also have four new "lifesaver" colors such as Venom Red, Viper Violet, Viper Orange, and Bright Blue. But throughout the model year eight exterior colors are to be introduced. Racing stripes are offered as an option but are available in most color combinations.
The 2008 Dodge Viper SRT will be equipped with an 8.4-liter aluminum V10 engine that produces 600 horsepower and 560 pound-foot of potent torque. This new Viper is capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in under four seconds and can reach 0 to 100 then decelerate back to 0 in less than twelve seconds.
The venomous V10 aluminum engine block of the green Viper was bored out 1mm which increases the displacement to 8.4 liters from the previous 8.3 liters. The new Viper has also stronger bulkheads as well as improved water jackets for better cooling. The block includes pressed-in iron cylinder liners and cross-bolted main bearing caps for added durability and strength.
